White Thistle Events

White Thistle Events is a family-owned wedding planning business run by sisters Felicity and Alex, based in Adelaide’s northern suburbs and the Clare Valley. Inspired by their Scottish heritage and love of family, they help couples create personal celebrations that feel true to them, while making the planning process less stressful. The sisters bring complementary skills to each event: Felicity draws on her background in travel and accounting to manage budgets, timelines and details, while Alex combines a decade of experience as a chef with a creative eye for design.

White Thistle Events offers tailored planning packages, including full hands-on planning, helping hands and on-the-day coordination. Couples can also browse the business’s hire collection, which includes backdrops, plinths, décor and other add-ons. The team shares examples of previous weddings and connects clients with suppliers to help bring their vision together.

Based in South Australia, White Thistle Events travels throughout the state and beyond, working with couples to create beautiful, memorable wedding days
