About Whitman County Public Health
Whitman County Public Health is dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals, children, and families in our community. Our mission is to prevent illness, promote healthy living, and create safer environments for everyone. At Whitman County Public Health, we offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of our community.
Our Community Clinic provides comprehensive healthcare services, including check-ups, vaccinations, and preventive care. We also offer programs such as Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) for nutrition support, Children with Special Healthcare Needs (CSHCN) for specialized care, and Access to Baby and Child Dentistry (ABCD) for oral health services. In addition to personal and family health services, we are committed to community health and disease prevention.
We provide information and resources on various health topics, including sexually transmitted infections, COVID-19, flu, and rabies. Our Harm Reduction program promotes safe practices for drug disposal, overdose prevention, and sharps container disposal. Furthermore, we offer services in environmental health, including air quality monitoring, food safety regulations, and onsite septic system permits.
