Whittakers Funeral Home is a family-owned funeral service based in Ruakākā, New Zealand, personally run by Eldon and Leslee Whittaker. Families can choose a service-led farewell or a simple cremation, with costs explained transparently. The Family Care Package for burial or cremation starts at $4,950 plus GST, while the Simple Cremation Care Package starts at $2,800 plus GST; additional fees, such as cemetery, cremation or medical costs, may apply. Whittakers also offers funeral pre-planning, practical guidance after a death and free community talks. Its Kepa Road premises include a mortuary, private viewing room and family meeting space. Eldon and Leslee can meet families at the funeral home or travel to them.
