USA Endurance Events organizes the Wicked Fast Race Series, a collection of marathon and half marathon events designed for runners seeking fast courses and Boston Marathon qualifying opportunities. The series highlights downhill routes with less than 1,500 feet of net elevation drop, and states that its listed marathons carry no Boston Marathon time penalties.
Events include the August Wicked Fast Marathon and Half Marathon in Bozeman, Montana, which descends approximately 1,200 feet from start to finish. Runners can take in views of Paradise Valley near Yellowstone National Park before finishing beside the Yellowstone River. In February, the Tucson, Arizona, marathon and half marathon follow a gradual 1,400-foot decline from the Biosphere through Oro Valley, across a desert valley course described as scenic and suited to Boston qualifying.
The organization also offers the San Diego Holiday Half Marathon in December. Its route features a 711-foot net elevation drop along a rolling downhill bike path, making it a potential personal-best course. The event is described as popular and has sold out annually.
