Granby Nurseries Ltd

Wickersley Nursery is an early years childcare provider in the heart of Wickersley, Rotherham, offering a warm, nurturing setting for children aged three months to five years. The nursery provides all-year-round childcare in a calm, carefully designed environment, with convenient drop-off and collection for families. Its approach respects each child’s pace and supports development through the connected values of being active in mind, body and heart.

Learning is play-led, encouraging curiosity, communication, early literacy and mathematical thinking, creativity, and exploration. Children also take part in daily outdoor play and movement, with activities that build coordination, strength, fine motor skills and independence. Gentle yoga and mindfulness support focus and self-regulation. Emotional wellbeing is central to the nursery’s care: staff foster emotional expression, empathy, kindness, positive relationships, confidence and resilience, helping children feel secure, understood and valued. Wickersley Nursery also uses the FAMLY nursery management platform to support partnerships with parents through daily updates, instant messages and automatic reminders.
