About WIDB
Women in Digital Business (WIDB) is an initiative by the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO) and Microsoft Philanthropies aimed at bridging the digital divide for women entrepreneurs in the developing world. WIDB offers training and coaching opportunities to empower women with digital skills to enhance their businesses. Despite the rise of the digital economy, women still face challenges in developing a digital transformation strategy.
WIDB focuses on equipping women entrepreneurs with the necessary competencies to navigate the digital landscape successfully. Utilizing a Training of Trainers approach, WIDB partners with institutions globally to reach women entrepreneurs who are keen on digitalizing their businesses. The initiative offers training programmes in digital skills in English, French, and Spanish, with the aim of expanding to more languages and countries in the future.
