Widder-AG

The Widder-AG, or Association of Lop Rabbit Breeders, is a German organization bringing together regional clubs and sections dedicated to breeding and exhibiting lop-eared rabbits. Its network spans many parts of Germany, supporting breeders through club activities, events, and shared information. The association provides resources about lop rabbit breeds and their recognized color varieties, alongside news, historical archives, and details about its leadership and regional clubs.

A central activity is the annual Widderclub comparison show, where rabbits bred by members are presented and judged. The website publishes event information, entry statistics, results, and winners, helping breeders and enthusiasts follow the competitions. The organization also shares updates through its website and social media. Recent activities include a charity auction of pedigree rabbits, with proceeds supporting Meer Leben e.V., an organization that assists children and young people facing illness or other challenges. Through breed information, club coordination, exhibitions, and community initiatives, Widder-AG serves breeders and admirers of lop rabbits across Germany.
