About UC Women in Engineering
Women in Engineering (WIE) is an incorporated society at the University of Canterbury, founded in 1999, with a membership of around 800 individuals. Our mission at WIE is to create a supportive community for women in the engineering field, offering networking opportunities and organizing various events throughout the year. These events cover educational, industry-related, and social aspects, providing a holistic experience for our members.
