Wiekloop is a renowned running event that has been a staple in the Reest region for over 25 years. This annual gathering not only brings together running enthusiasts but also fosters a sense of community through sports. Wiekloop features various competitions, including a standard running event and the Wiathlon, which will make its debut in 2024, replacing the traditional Wiekloop format. The Wiathlon offers participants a unique challenge, demanding skill and technique as runners navigate through diverse terrains rather than smooth asphalt.

In addition to the main events, Wiekloop organizes a cross-loop, providing a thrilling experience across challenging and uneven paths, testing athletes' balance and endurance. With an emphasis on inclusivity and variety, Wiekloop invites runners of all levels to participate and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the event. Supported by a robust network of local sponsors, Wiekloop epitomizes community spirit, showcasing the dedication of local businesses to promote health and fitness in the region. Join us for an exhilarating experience that combines competition, community, and celebration of the sport!
