**Wiener Eistraum - A Winter Wonderland in Vienna**
The Wiener Eistraum is an iconic winter experience located in the heart of Vienna, transforming the city into a magical ice landscape between the Burgtheater and the Rathausplatz. Every winter, the event attracts hundreds of thousands of locals and visitors alike to enjoy ice skating on its expansive ice surfaces, including the unique Sky Rink that offers stunning views over the illuminated paths of the Rathauspark.
With a total of four large ice rinks and enchanting winding pathways, the Wiener Eistraum caters to skaters of all levels—from beginners to seasoned pros. Beyond skating, visitors can savor delicious food and beverages in the cozy Almhütte. The event, organized by Stadt Wien Marketing, also features free skating for schools, providing access to around 45,000 children annually.
