Wij zijn Wille is a specialist youth care provider supporting children, young people and families who need help with growing up, learning and parenting. Based in Sneek, the organisation works with children and young people with intellectual disabilities or developmental delays, sometimes alongside behaviour that is difficult to understand or complex family circumstances. Wille has provided care for more than 25 years, with the aim of helping every child find a place in society.

Its services are available at home, at school and in group settings. Support includes parenting and family guidance, ambulatory care, descriptive diagnostics, education-care arrangements, specialist preschool provision and group support. Wille also offers a respite house, supported contact and Wiis, expertise relating to Down syndrome. The organisation emphasises stable, predictable environments, early help and prevention, and close cooperation with parents, schools and referring professionals. Its work is designed to strengthen the parenting environment and support children’s development through shared effort.
