Wiki Education is a small nonprofit organization that serves as a bridge between academia and Wikipedia. As a spin-off of the Wikimedia Foundation, the organization has been running programs since 2013 to build connections between universities, Wikipedia, and other Wikimedia projects in the United States and Canada. Their most established program, the Wikipedia Education Program, supports university instructors in assigning their students to add content to course-related articles on Wikipedia.
