Wild Birch Design is an interior and landscape design studio led by Kate Robinson, creating hospitality and residential spaces across Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and New England. The studio works with vacation rentals, boutique hotels, micro-resorts, ski properties, and legacy estates, including homes in destinations such as Killington, Smugglers’ Notch, Sugarbush, and Woodstock.
Its approach goes beyond decoration and passing trends, using principles from neuroaesthetics—the study of how people respond to beauty, light, space, and their surroundings—to shape memorable guest experiences. Design decisions are intended to help properties feel distinctive and welcoming while supporting owners’ business goals, including stronger guest loyalty and improved performance measures such as ADR and RevPAR.
Wild Birch Design offers several ways to begin: a Benchmark Assessment to evaluate a property and its opportunities, a Blueprint Strategy for long-term design and investment planning, and Full Scope services covering the project from site visit through final styling. Engagements are available remotely or in person, with each project tailored to the property, its guests, and the owner’s goals.
