Wildcat Foundation

The Wildcat Foundation, established in 1998, is a 501(c)(3) k-12 public education foundation dedicated to enhancing the educational, cultural, social, and athletic development of the students in the Mechanicsburg Area School District (MASD). They provide grant funds and support for innovative education programs that go beyond the district's traditional budget or curriculum. Funding for their grant budget comes from charitable donations, special events like an annual golf outing and Wildcat Foundation Night, as well as business donations through the Department of Community and Economic Development's Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.

Each year, funds are distributed through a competitive grant process, allowing MASD teachers, advisors, coaches, clubs, and organizations to apply for funding. The Foundation strives to support projects with the greatest impact on district students and families. Their vision statement is to engage the community and provide innovative solutions to realize the full potential of every student, while their core values include diversity, engagement, excellence, innovation, and integrity.
