Wilderness Hive

Wilderness Hive is an integrative women’s health practice helping patients understand persistent symptoms and feel more like themselves. Led by Emily, a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience and advanced functional medicine education, the practice combines conventional medical care with a whole-person approach. Its care is personal and designed around each patient’s health, life stage, and goals, with thoughtful testing and clear explanations of results.

Wilderness Hive offers care for thyroid conditions, including hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s, as well as metabolic concerns such as insulin resistance, prediabetes, and difficulty losing weight. Its hormone health services support people experiencing perimenopause, menopause, and changes associated with healthy aging. Personalized hormone therapy may include medication or non-medication approaches. The practice also considers how thyroid function, hormones, metabolism, nutrients, and everyday life may relate to symptoms such as fatigue, weight changes, sleep disruption, mood changes, and brain fog.

Wilderness Hive is currently seeing patients in Colorado, Iowa, Montana, Utah, and Oklahoma, with additional states planned. Start by booking a consultation.
