Forbes Wild Foods

Forbes Wild Foods is a renowned Canadian brand that prides itself on supplying a wide range of wild, hand-picked foods. Their products are available to restaurants, farmers markets, hotels, gift, food, and health stores, as well as individual customers through their online store. What sets Forbes Wild Foods apart is their commitment to sustainability and responsible harvesting practices.

All of their foods are sustainably harvested from the Canadian wilderness by trained and knowledgeable pickers. These pickers, including Indigenous people, women, youth, retirees, farmers, and professional foragers, are residents of rural or remote communities who deeply respect and understand the importance of preserving the lands that support them. Only wild foods that grow abundantly and whose survival is not at risk are selected for harvest.

Additionally, Forbes Wild Foods actively collaborates with regional and northern wild food producers to reintroduce rare wild food plants to lands in need of remedial attention. With a focus on preserving the Canadian wilderness, Forbes Wild Foods offers products that are organic, free from artificial additives, and are sourced far from the risk of contamination.
