Wild Herb Academy is an educational platform founded by herbalist and botanist April Punsalan to help people reconnect with the plants growing around them. Its programs teach students to identify wild herbs, forage responsibly, and explore traditional plant-based wellness in a modern context. The academy offers a membership featuring foraging education, along with Medical Botany courses designed to build a strong foundation in herbalism and plant knowledge.

It also provides free live classes, such as Backyard Pharmacy, which introduces everyday plants that may grow in yards and nearby landscapes. Through its courses and learning resources, Wild Herb Academy encourages attentive, respectful relationships with local ecosystems and the herbs people encounter in daily life. The founder draws on decades of herbalism study and professional experience as a botanist with the U.
