Wild Horse Mountain Farms (WHMF) is an equestrian teaching, training, and wellness facility located on Parrett Mountain in Sherwood, Oregon. Set among more than eleven acres of fir trees and native grass pastures, it provides a natural setting for developing a closer connection between horse and rider. The farm serves children and adults through horsemanship foundation lessons, youth and mentoring programs, adult riding instruction, and horse training.
Its approach emphasizes patience, trust, recognizing a horse’s efforts, and giving the animal time to learn. Facilities include a 72-by-168-foot indoor arena and an internationally rated Mountain Trail Horse Park, supporting year-round activities. WHMF also hosts events and clinics led by local, national, and international clinicians.
Topics include riding, functional anatomy and biomechanics, equine bodywork, and wellness approaches such as Pranic Healing and essential oils for horses. A bunkhouse stay is also listed among its offerings. Programs are available through lessons and clinics; the farm does not offer independent trail rides
