Wildlife Mediation

Wildlife Mediation is an organization focused on helping people respond appropriately when they encounter wild animals. Its website offers guidance for people who have found a wild animal, emphasizing that visitors should first make sure the animal truly needs help before intervening. The organization warns that improper feeding and trapping or relocating wildlife can cause preventable injuries and deaths. For urgent situations, it provides a wildlife emergency phone line answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Beyond emergency assistance, Wildlife Mediation provides information about domestic animals, wildlife-related myths, and relevant legislation. Its resources and advocacy materials support public understanding of animal issues and encourage informed responses. Visitors can also learn more about the organization through its About and Contact sections, browse an index of site content, and contribute through donations accepted via PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App. Overall, Wildlife Mediation combines emergency guidance, educational resources, and advocacy to help people make more careful decisions when animals may need assistance.
