Wildlife Rescue League

Wildlife Rescue League (WRL) is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to the rehabilitation of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife in Northern Virginia. With over 40 years of experience, WRL relies on a passionate team of nearly 50 licensed rehabilitators and numerous volunteers to provide essential care for local wildlife. The organization works collaboratively with veterinary hospitals, animal shelters, and nature centers to ensure that animals receive the treatment they need before being released back into their natural habitats.

WRL offers a range of services, including a Wildlife Helpline available seven days a week for immediate assistance, educational resources on wildlife care, and opportunities for community involvement through volunteering and membership. They host various events and workshops, including crafting tutorials to help individuals create items for wildlife care. A new initiative is underway to establish a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, enhancing their ability to serve the community and protect Virginia's rich natural heritage.
