WildSafeBC, established in 2013, is a program developed by the British Columbia Conservation Foundation (BCCF) to address wildlife conflicts in the province. Through collaboration, education, and community solutions, WildSafeBC aims to prevent conflicts with various species, including bears, deer, cougars, coyotes, and rattlesnakes. Their mission is to promote and assist in the conservation of fish and wildlife resources in BC by protecting, acquiring, or enhancing habitat.

The organization supports communities in becoming "Bear Smart" by educating them on managing attractants, waste, bylaws, and community planning to reduce human-wildlife conflicts. With a focus on prevention, WildSafeBC offers courses, training, and resources to help residents live harmoniously with wildlife. By reporting all wildlife conflicts to the BC Conservation Officer Service RAPP line, residents can contribute to keeping wildlife wild and communities safe
