We are a non-profit organization that takes care of unwanted, neglected or abused horses that are in need of a good home to retire. In the future we hope to have enough space and rescues to be able to have adoptions available. We have 6 horses and 1 pony currently in our care.

Wild West Horse Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity dedicated to providing a safe, loving retirement home for unwanted, neglected, and abused horses. The organization cares for equines according to the space and funding available, with six horses and one pony reported in its care.
Its mission centers on helping these animals live with dignity in a herd environment, offering attentive daily care and ongoing health management tailored to each horse’s needs. This includes support for senior and special-needs equines, such as suitable feeding and comfort measures, alongside veterinary guidance about quality of life. The rescue shares individual horse biographies to introduce the animals and their histories, and invites supporters to sponsor horses, donate, or explore its merchandise.
While adoptions are not currently described as available, the organization hopes to expand its space and rescue capacity so it can offer them in the future. It also aspires to provide therapy opportunities for children and adults with physical or mental disabilities; one horse already serves as a companion therapy friend for a member of the rescue’s household
