Wild Yarrow Equine & Somatics is a Victor, Idaho-based business serving children and families in Teton Valley through equine education, horseback riding lessons, and nature-based healing programs. Its riding instruction is designed for students at different experience levels, with an emphasis on safety, professional guidance, and building a solid foundation in horsemanship. Lessons develop balanced equitation, including posture, core strength, coordination, and technical riding skills.

Students also learn practical horse care, such as handling, grooming, and tacking up, while building confidence and respect for the animals. Goal-setting and progress in the saddle help foster responsibility and self-esteem, and outdoor sessions offer opportunities to connect with the surrounding landscape. Wild Yarrow’s somatic work is informed by the teachings of Lynn Wedekind, Linda Kohanov, Lisa Murrell, the Somatic Institute for Women, and the Somatic Wilderness Institute.

The organization acknowledges that its sessions take place on lands traditionally stewarded by the Eastern Shoshone and Shoshone-Bannock Tribes. Contact is available by email or phone
