Will Atherton Canine Centre

Will Atherton Canine Centre is a dog training and behaviour modification facility based in Church Broughton, Derbyshire. It helps dogs and their owners build skills, address behavioural challenges and reach their potential, with training for puppies, adult dogs and canine professionals. The Perfect Puppy Club offers weekly group training for puppies aged three to nine months, focusing on calm, confident foundations, while the Perfect Puppy Clinic provides one-to-one support for individual puppy challenges.

For dogs aged nine months and older, the Perfect Canine Companion Club develops manners, focus and reliable recall. A private Behaviour Clinic supports owners dealing with reactivity, anxiety and other problem behaviours. Outdoor training is available through the Country Canine Companion Club, which uses gundog-inspired work to build focus and control in the field.

The centre also offers a Professional Mentorship Programme, an immersive day for trainers seeking to develop their skills, and the Unconditional Canines Programme, which trains assistance dogs for people in need. Its approach is expressed through the principle “Leadership is Love. ”
