AB Willowbrae Childcare Foothills

Willowbrae Academy Childcare Foothills provides childcare and early learning programs for children from infancy through preschool age in Calgary, Alberta. The academy aims to offer reliable, high-quality care in a safe, nurturing environment, with programs designed to meet children’s developmental needs and interests.

Its curriculum draws on Montessori, High Scope and emergent learning approaches, with purposeful activities across social, emotional, cognitive, communication, physical and creative learning areas. Through programs including Willowbrae Young Scholars, Willowbrae KID FIT and Willowbrae Creative Kids, children are encouraged to explore, interact, stay active and express themselves. The academy also promotes diversity, positive relationships and healthy lifestyle habits.

Facilities include open, naturally lit classrooms, secure access controls, Liveview camera feeds for families and a private outdoor play space. On-site kitchens prepare meals and snacks from scratch using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with menus approved by a dietitian and guided by Canada’s Food Guide. Families can request a tour or contact the academy for information about enrollment and available schedules.
