Willows Leap

Willow’s Leap is an equestrian training facility in Wollombi Valley, at the southern end of New South Wales’ Hunter Valley. The business provides riding instruction, horse education and accommodation, welcoming riders from the Hunter Valley, Sydney, the Central Coast and surrounding areas. Led by experienced instructor Lyndel, lessons are available individually or in small groups and cover cross-country, show jumping and flat work, from introductory skills to confidence-building for more experienced riders.

Facilities include two grass arenas, a floodlit sand arena, a full show-jump course and four cross-country areas featuring more than 100 jumps. Willow’s Leap also offers horse training, including introductions to cross-country, along with limited private riding agistment and full-care spelling agistment. Group bookings and tailored clinics can be arranged for up to 12 people.

Beside the equestrian facility, Willow’s Retreat offers nature-focused stays, including private campsites and a fully equipped three-bedroom rammed-earth lodge, with walking trails through native bushland. Discounted accommodation and lesson packages may be available for guests bringing horses
