Wimborne and District Angling Club (WDAC) is a welcoming fishing club with a 75-year history, serving anglers in and around Wimborne. It offers members a varied choice of coarse and trout fishing, with access to more than 20 stillwaters, eight stretches of the River Stour and two dedicated trout venues. Featured locations include Hatch Pond, Creekmoor Ponds, Netherwood on the River Stour and Merely Hall Farm on the River Stour.
The club provides membership options for adults, people aged 65 and over or with disabilities, and juniors aged 16 and 17. Adult full membership includes 12 months of fishing across WDAC waters. Members can also take part in a thriving game section, which offers high-quality trout sourced from leading suppliers, alongside catch reports and work-party information.
WDAC’s committee focuses on providing, maintaining and improving fishing waters, while promoting freshwater angling. The club shares news, venue information, guest ticket details and updates through its website and newsletter. With a friendly community ethos, WDAC welcomes people interested in joining its angling community.
