About WiMIN
WiMIN is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for women in medicine in Ireland. Our mission is to bring together women at all stages of their medical careers, across specialties and grades, to foster collaboration, share experiences, and learn from each other. We recognize that certain aspects of a medical career can be different for women compared to men.
There is still under-representation of women in certain specialties and in higher ranks of academic and clinical medicine. At WiMIN, we aim to investigate the reasons behind this disparity and work towards creating equal opportunities for all. Through our advocacy and support, we strive to help women in medicine achieve their career goals and promote leadership and personal fulfillment.
