About WIM Perú
Women in Mining Perú is a non-profit association that was established on September 3, 2016. Our main objective is to highlight the participation of women in the Peruvian mining sector, promoting their personal and professional growth, and achieving greater involvement in various fields of mining at all levels. We are committed to promoting better corporate diversity and inclusion practices in companies.
Women in Mining Perú is a volunteer-based network that relies on the contributions of professional and student members, as well as our institutional allies, strategic partners, and sponsors. We have important strategic and institutional allies that support and endorse our goals and activities. Additionally, we align our purpose with the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals 5, 8, and 17, contributing to gender equity in the Peruvian mining sector.
