Chicago.Death.Doula.Collective

Winding Path Doula Services provides holistic, person-centered end-of-life support for individuals and families, helping them navigate the practical, emotional, and existential dimensions of dying. Its services include advance care planning, with a focus on personalized advance directives and reflecting on what a “good death” means to each client. The practice also offers tailored doula services, including compassionate companionship, emotional and spiritual support, assistance with end-of-life plans and legacy projects, resource coordination, and help facilitating communication among clients, loved ones, and healthcare providers.

This non-medical support is intended to help ensure that people’s wishes are understood and respected while easing isolation, fear, and uncertainty. Winding Path Doula Services also offers speaking engagements, workshops, panel and podcast participation, and group facilitation focused on death education and public awareness of the end-of-life doula’s role within a care team. The practice is connected to the Chicago Death Doula Collective, which promotes holistic, inclusive, and accessible death care, education, and advocacy for Chicagoans.
