Reit- und Fahrverein Windischgaillenreuth

Reit- und Fahrverein Windischgaillenreuth e.V. is a community equestrian club dedicated to bringing together riders, vaulters, members, and local supporters. The association provides opportunities to take part in equestrian activities, including vaulting through its group “Voltige Pottenstein,” which welcomes both experienced participants and newcomers. Its events offer members a chance to develop and demonstrate their skills on horseback and on a vaulting horse, with activities for different ages and experience levels, including family and sibling classes. The club also supports participation in upcoming competition seasons and invites prospective members to learn more about joining.

Beyond sporting activities, the association maintains a venue with a riding arena, round pen, and clubhouse, cared for through member workdays. It fosters a lively social calendar that includes an annual Johannisfire celebration, a rider flea market, a Christmas gathering, and rider meetups. Community festivities have featured a lawn tractor rally, while taster days introduce visitors to vaulting. Through shared activities, volunteering, and local events, the club promotes equestrian participation, fellowship, and active community life.
