Windy City Aquariums is a passionate, Chicago-based online aquatics store founded by a young couple dedicated to enhancing the fish-keeping experience. Specializing in live aquatic plants and animals, the business evolved from a simple hobby to a thriving venture, inspired by their discovery of the beauty of underwater gardening. They prioritize sourcing from small, family-run nurseries and local wholesalers while maintaining high standards for the health and quality of their offerings by growing plants in optimal conditions in their own aquariums.
Their product range includes a variety of healthy aquatic plants, fish, dry goods, and accessories. Windy City Aquariums aims to provide exceptional customer service, catering to both beginners and seasoned aquarists. With a strong commitment to education and support, they help customers make informed choices to ensure successful and sustainable aquariums.
