Wingate Institute, Israel’s National Institute for Sport Excellence, aims to lead internationally in sports knowledge, facilities and coaching, with a national focus on identifying and developing elite athletes. Its work combines education, athlete development, research and services for the wider sporting community.

The institute’s school for coaches and instructors offers study programs in coaching, instruction, complementary medicine, therapeutic riding, sports management and marketing, and nutrition, alongside advanced courses and professional enrichment. Its Wingate Academy supports talented athletes through a dedicated school, accommodation, sports training and specialist support.

The Sports Medicine and Research Center provides medical examinations, consultations, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, as well as assessments and advice on sport and healthy living. Its services include tailored nutrition programs and a running assessment and consultation. The institute also supports high-performance sport through its Sports Achievement Unit and Athena, which promotes women’s sport in Israel.

Wingate makes sports facilities, swimming pools, meeting rooms, conference spaces and accommodation available for hire.
