Wing Chun Akademie

Wing Chun Akademie is a traditional Chinese martial arts school based in Ostrava, Czech Republic, offering training in Wing Chun Kung Fu, also known as Wing Tsun. The academy teaches an approach it describes as authentic Hong Kong Wing Chun, rooted in a lineage connected to Grandmaster Ip Man, and emphasizes practical self-defense, efficient movement, balance, body structure, and responsive technique. Its programs include public group classes for adults, beginner-friendly instruction, private lessons with SiFu Alex, themed seminars, and self-defense workshops, including sessions for women and companies.

Group training is limited to 12 participants, allowing for individual guidance in a supportive environment. Students can progress through the six traditional Wing Chun forms and train with equipment such as the wooden dummy. The academy also discusses the practice’s broader benefits for coordination, body awareness, relaxation, and health, while introducing related concepts such as Tai Chi and Chi Kung.

In addition to classes and workshops, its website features information about Wing Chun history, instructors, training, and an online shop
