Winged Foot Scholarship Foundation

The Winged Foot Scholarship Foundation supports student-athletes in Collier County, Florida, as they pursue excellence in academics, athletics, and their communities. Its signature program, the Winged Foot Scholar-Athlete Award, recognizes an outstanding scholar-athlete from each of the county’s high schools. The foundation provides annual grants totaling $80,000 and has supported more than 300 recipients, who have gone on to attend over 50 colleges and universities.

Each year, the foundation celebrates finalists and winners at the Winged Foot Scholarship Banquet, an event that also features guest speakers and a silent auction. The 36th annual banquet is scheduled for May 7, 2026, at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón. Past speakers have included athletes, coaches, and sports commentators. The foundation invites community members to get involved through donations and recognizes the sponsors whose support helps sustain its work. By combining student recognition, financial grants, and community participation, Winged Foot encourages young athletes to uphold high standards of sportsmanship while pursuing higher education and future goals.
