Winged Freedom Raptor Hospital is a nonprofit raptor rehabilitation organization based in Spooner, Wisconsin. Its mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and protect birds of prey, with the goal of returning recovered birds to the wild. The hospital provides individualized care for injured and orphaned raptors, including emergency medical treatment, rehabilitation, and conditioning to help birds regain the natural behaviors and survival skills they need. Its fully equipped facility and on-site veterinarians support advanced medical care, while dedicated hospital volunteers assist with daily care and trained field-rescue volunteers respond to injured birds across Northwest Wisconsin.

The organization helps raptors affected by vehicle collisions, poisoning, habitat loss, and other human-related causes, as well as orphaned nestlings and fledglings. Winged Freedom also offers guidance to people who find an injured, orphaned, or grounded raptor, advising them on safe containment and next steps. Education and outreach are central to its work, sharing knowledge about raptors, their ecosystems, and the challenges they face. Donations support medical care, food, safe housing, and hospital operations.
