Wingshooter Kennels

Wingshooter Kennels is a bird dog training and breeding facility in rural Southeast Kansas, developed by upland hunting enthusiast and conservationist Mark Walker in partnership with Timber Hills Lake Manager Joey Bisogno. The kennel serves upland hunters, hunting lodge owners, and hunt test competitors, helping dogs and handlers build the skills needed for the field. Its programs are tailored to each dog’s stage of development and begin with an assessment, followed by ongoing communication and progress reports.

Services include training for pointing breeds, preseason conditioning, private hunter and handler instruction, and short- or long-term boarding for sporting dogs. Wingshooter Kennels also selects, breeds, and trains started gun dogs, and offers puppies for sale. Its expansive training grounds, kennels, fields, and equipment provide options for both guided programs and self-training. The team aims to develop bold, confident dogs that seek, find, and point game, while recognizing that each dog is also a valued family companion. The kennel is licensed and insured in Kansas.
