About True North Youth Foundation
The True North Youth Foundation (TNYF) is a dedicated charitable organization in Manitoba, focusing on empowering under-served youth through three impactful programs: the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Academy (WJHA), Project 11, and Camp Manitou. These initiatives aim to enrich the lives of young individuals by encouraging active engagement in education, promoting mental wellness, and fostering personal growth. With a strong emphasis on building long-term relationships, the foundation offers a continuum of programming from kindergarten to Grade 12.
The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Academy targets improving school attendance and graduation rates, while Project 11 enhances mental health awareness and Camp Manitou provides outdoor experiences and educational opportunities.
