Winterwood Farm – Ohio

Winterwood Farm is an Ohio Standardbred breeding and horse-care facility located in the rolling hills of north central Ohio, just south of Mansfield. Its 230 acres include spacious pastures, several barns, eight miles of fencing, and a newly built barn with 13 stalls. The farm highlights its fresh spring water, modern fencing, nearby veterinary support, and a management team with more than 90 years of combined equine husbandry experience.

Winterwood offers horse boarding, breeding and insemination services, foaling, yearling boarding and preparation, sale preparation, racehorse turnouts, and local horse transportation. Its facilities are designed to give mares, foals, and young horses room to exercise and graze while supporting their development.

The farm also provides breeding contracts and yearling information. In 2026, champion pacing colt Louprint is scheduled to begin his stud career at Winterwood under Diamond Creek Farm’s management. Breeders can contact Diamond Creek Farm for details about Louprint’s breeding availability, while Winterwood provides a designated schedule and office contact for stallion barn visits.
