Most good hires don't start with an application. They start with someone saying, "I know a person you should talk to." Companies know this, which is why employee referrals work. The catch is that a referral program stops at the office door. It reaches the people on payroll and nobody else.
WIP was built to open that door. A company posts a role once, sets a bounty and gets one referral link. Its employees and verified outside professionals share it with people they actually know. Every intro lands in a single tracked pipeline, and WIP takes care of attribution, paperwork and payouts. The company keeps hiring its own way.
Open referral programs tend to drown in spam, so trust sits at the center of the design. Each referrer passes an identity check and puts $20 of their own money on every introduction. They confirm the candidate agreed to be referred, and anyone who abuses the system is removed. The company, in turn, commits to the payout through a contract with WIP. The referrer gets 20% of the bounty when the new hire starts and the rest after probation.
WIP stands for Work Identity Protocol. Behind the name is a simple bet: one person's word about another is worth money, and it should be paid like any other work. inDrive, Planner 5D, Wallet and Horizon already hire this way.
The best hires come through trust, not CV piles.
