Wireless Choices

Wireless Choices is an Australian telecommunications comparison and connectivity-tools platform, built around one idea: telco pricing in Australia should be readable.

Plan detail sits behind footnotes. Introductory rates expire without fanfare. Speed figures shift depending on the time of day. Most people only shop for a plan once every couple of years, so they meet all of this cold and are expected to decide anyway.

We built Wireless Choices to make that moment shorter. The platform compares mobile postpaid and prepaid plans, nbn and home internet, mobile broadband, handsets and outright device pricing, and streaming subscriptions, from a range of Australian providers. Not every plan in the market is listed, and not all plans from each provider are listed. Listings are reviewed on an ongoing basis, but pricing and availability can change at any time, so we tell people to confirm details with the provider before signing up.

Alongside comparison we build connectivity tools: speed testing on Australian servers, outage tracking, nbn address checks, coverage context drawn from user-submitted reports, and plain-English guides to roaming, plan types and connection technologies.

How we operate is stated plainly. Wireless Choices may receive commissions when a visitor clicks through to a provider or retailer. Sponsored listings are clearly labelled and sit in a separate section rather than blended into results.
