WirelessPT

WirelessPT.net is a pioneering project dedicated to the development of community-based wireless mesh networks, empowering users to create expansive internet-like connectivity using common routing devices. This innovative approach allows any router equipped with the specially developed MVWRT firmware to seamlessly communicate with others, forming a robust and decentralized network that is cost-effective and resilient. The charm of this network lies in its self-sustaining nature; it lacks a central control point, ensuring that the network remains operational regardless of individual router participation.

At WirelessPT.net, our mission is to facilitate free and democratic access to information technology by promoting open-source solutions and sharing resources within the community. We focus on educating users about online security and privacy, creating a more informed society. Interested individuals can join our community by participating in forums, chats, and social media, or by simply setting up their router to contribute to the mesh. With each new router, the network expands, enhancing connectivity for everyone involved. Join us in this transformative technology initiative!
