WIRE Network

WIRE, or Wild Italian Riviera Experience, is a cooperative and tourism network focused on the eastern Ligurian Riviera and Val di Vara. It connects travelers with local guides, artisans, producers, businesses, startups, and institutions to offer experiences rooted in the area’s nature, culture, and traditions. Its approach emphasizes sustainable tourism, authentic local encounters, and benefits for surrounding communities.

Visitors can choose outdoor activities such as guided hikes, full- and half-day e-bike tours, and other nature excursions, or explore the coast through kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkeling, and sea rentals. The network also offers food and wine experiences, visits with local producers, workshops, cultural activities, and tailor-made tours. Options range from active adventures to quieter experiences designed for relaxation and connection with the landscape.

WIRE also organizes the Action Sport Expo in Riva Trigoso, a festival featuring outdoor sports, demonstrations, bookable gatherings, street food, and music.
