Wisent Wildnis

Wisent Wildnis Wittgenstein gGmbH is a conservation and nature-education organization based in Bad Berleburg, Germany. Its central project, the Wisent-Wildnis am Rothaarsteig, gives visitors the opportunity to observe European bison living in a natural setting. Since 2011, a small herd at the site has contributed to species conservation by providing an additional population reserve.
