Witchards

Witchards Society is a non-profit organization that produces live-action role-playing (LARP) events and stewards the shared Witchards Universe. Its games bring people together to portray students, faculty, and other characters in immersive stories centered on learning magic, exploring mysterious settings, and building friendships. Participants can attend magical lessons, study spells and potions, encounter mystical beings, and explore castle grounds and fairytale forests.

The Society’s flagship events include Bothwell School of Witchcraft, described as the UK’s largest magic school role-playing event, and College of Wizardry, presented as the world’s largest immersive magic school. Bothwell takes place at an authentic British boarding school, while College of Wizardry offers an overnight castle experience. The Society also presents WereWar and other community events, and supports members in creating and sharing their own stories.

People can join the association for €10 or €50 per year. Membership supports the organization and offers a role in shaping its future, including voting rights at the annual general assembly. The €50 tier includes event-ticket discounts and a members-only shirt.
