Within Two Worlds

Within Two Worlds is the Gold Coast doula practice of Sara Johnston, who supports women and their families through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. Guided by empathy, sensitivity and intuition, Sara aims to create a calm, respectful space where clients feel heard, safe and supported in their choices. Her doula care is non-medical and offers emotional support, physical comfort, education and practical guidance tailored to each family.

Services include birth support, with gentle advocacy and comfort measures, and personalised postpartum care in the home to support rest, recovery and adjustment to motherhood. Sara also offers in-home massage during pregnancy or postpartum, as well as TENS machine hire for non-invasive pain relief during birth. Her approach recognises the needs of both the birthing person and their partner, and seeks to provide nurturing support throughout this significant transition.

Within Two Worlds also shares free downloadable resources, including a home birth checklist and a guide to useful pregnancy, birth and postpartum resources.
