With Love From Em Foundation is a Washington-based registered 501(c)(3) public charity created to carry on Emily’s legacy of kindness, courage, and generosity. Emily was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), an aggressive pediatric brain cancer, and faced years of treatment with determination and compassion for others. During her appointments, she anonymously gave gifts to other children, an example of the care that inspires the foundation’s work.
The foundation’s mission is to support families affected by pediatric brain cancer and fund research aimed at finding a cure for DIPG. Through this work, it honors Emily’s bravery and the impact of her participation in pioneering clinical research, including the first DIPG treatment in the Brain Child 03 trial at Seattle Children’s Hospital. The organization shares Emily’s story and information about DIPG, and offers ways for people to learn about its work, follow news and events, and donate. With Love From Em connects Emily’s personal legacy with ongoing support for families and efforts to advance research for children facing this devastating disease.
