Teddy Bears of Witney, established in 1985, is the first dedicated teddy bear shop in the UK, located in a charming sixteenth-century Cotswold stone building. This enchanting store offers a vast array of bears, featuring both contemporary and collectible artist bears from across the globe. Customers can browse limited editions from renowned brands such as Steiff and Merrythought, alongside a unique selection of vintage bears with captivating histories.
In addition to their retail offerings, Teddy Bears of Witney houses a free museum showcasing extraordinary bears like Aloysius from *Brideshead Revisited* and Happy, a historic 1926 Steiff bear. The museum tells the stories of beloved bears like Bristol, a captivating 1910 German bear with a tale of reunion.
