Witney Educational Foundation

Witney Educational Foundation (WEF) is a charitable organisation providing financial support to schools, youth groups and individuals in Witney and nearby communities. Its aim is to help ensure that students can take part in the full range of activities offered by their schools, regardless of financial circumstances. The foundation also offers grants to families in need to help cover the costs of extracurricular activities, educational visits, school clothing and other essential items.

WEF considers applications from eligible local schools, groups and individuals. Its governors, who serve as trustees, meet four times a year to review applications, with advice available from the foundation’s secretary. Information and application forms can be requested through the Registrar.

The foundation’s website also provides details about its history, governors, case studies and the Isabelle Spencer Awards, alongside links to external sources of grant information. Witney Educational Foundation is registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales under charity number 309645.
