Women in Technology Uganda (WITU) is a non-profit organization created by women, for women. Their main objective is to connect young women from underserved communities to meaningful employment and economic opportunities. WITU achieves this through their educational programs focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), as well as providing job opportunities in the technology sector.

WITU's initiatives include the STEM Foundation, which aims to cultivate girls' interest in STEM subjects, and the Code Girls program, where girls are taught coding skills. They also offer the Coding Skills Academy, which provides market-led skills development. Their goal is to empower women with education, promoting gender equality and financial independence.

By identifying individual needs and circumstances, WITU provides support and mentorship to help women become skilled competitors in the global workforce. Their platform recruits, trains, and stages talented women in Uganda, enabling them to access life-changing opportunities and become tech professionals. WITU's work has already benefited over 15,000 young women from underserved communities, making a significant impact across Uganda.
